It´s the people who make the difference - nowhere this is reflected more than in a traditional family estate. The boundaries between work and spare time are fluid, all details of business are connected in some way, and the tasks on the estate cannot be separated clearly. Nevertheless, each one sets his very own priorities to achieve something coherent in the whole enterprise.
... is the director of the winery and is trying – remarkably successfully according to numerous wine critics – to make his vision of great wines coined by their origin come true year by year.
... supports him in all matters, at presentations as well as in all administrative tasks. With her export firm she pays particular attention to the international network.
... is the “master of the bottles” and Daniel’s right hand. He is involved in almost all matters. He can be found at wine tastings in the winery as well as in the office or in the vineyards.
... is the oenologist of the estate forming the practical center of the enterprise together with Daniel. Primarily focussing on the cellar management and the vineyards he is also responsible for the education of the numerous apprentices and trainees each year.
Conny Schrantz and Julia Rieser are in the center of all activities, coordinating everything going on in the winery. If there are any questions, Conny and Julia can surely help.
... is the universal housekeeper and a great support at the estate. She keeps an eye on every detail and helps out in the vineyards as well as in the guesthouse. She takes warm care of the whole winery team and is always the greatest help one can desire.
Since more than 20 years now Kristian Hadamek is a permanent fixture in the winery and throughout the whole year our “rock in the waves”. He is the indispensable employee of our vineyard team und in particular during the harvest time his friends and relatives are an essential part of the picking team.
... is our versatile adjutant,who is a great help especially at the estate and in the guesthouse. But also in the vineyard and cellar he supports the team at all seasons.
Paul & Antonia Wagner are already well prepared for future tasks and vigorous support in the vineyards. A small herd of Toggenburger goats and Ouessant sheep is already in the vineyards and responds to their command.
